PATIO OFFICE

The roof is the most technically complex and expensive part of a building.
This is because it performs many important functions at the same time:

• thermal insulation
• drainage
• waterproofing the building

Maximising the use of this space is therefore on the agenda of every developer and building owner. This is how gardens, terraces, recreational areas and even swimming pools on the roof are created.
A multi-purpose roof is a complex engineering project that requires a great deal of attention to the design and compliance with all the technical and safety requirements.
We present the project of a patio on the roof of an office building.
The following materials have been chosen for the project:

• Thermo pine decking, B and C grade, dimensions: 30x130x2,000-4,000 mm
• Thermobirch decking, fine corduroy, grade 2, dimensions: 20x120x1,000-3,000 mm
• Thermobirch modules, dimensions: 500×500 mm
• Leinos oil coating

A complete cycle of works, from design to implementation and commissioning of the project was carried out by the company Thermodecking.
